I am very pleased with the work done on my condo, and the overall job done by Level One!

I had an idea of what I wanted, but had no real idea of how to get it accomplished. I let Randy’s judgement and expertise assist me, and I am delighted with the results.

Just for your amusement, a friend in the building has had a handyman working on his place for over 9 months now. When I was able to compare the work your men did on things like the flooring and the crown molding, the difference is like night and day. It really made me realize that I did the right thing with going with Level One. I think they have installed the crown molding upside down. It looks a mess.

I only wish I had more funds to continue with other areas of the condo. I am certain that Randy and his crew would not disappoint!

I would be happy to refer Level One to my friends and family. In fact, my best friend and neighbour is going to contact Level One for some painting of a difficult ceiling.

I hope to have Level 1 back when I have more finances. I have other areas of my condo which need upgrading and renovating.

In the past, I’ve often had issues lining up reliable contractors. I found Level One on the web in my search for a small jobs contractor, found them and decided to give them a call. I was pleasantly shocked by a few things: first, by how fast they were able to provide estimates and complete the work, and secondly, by the quality of the work. It was an excellent experience, and I have already recommended them to family and friends.

This is truly amazing – I just wanted to say again that the kitchen looks absolutely beautiful (and will be even more so when all the details are finished). Thank you so much for getting it all done before you go on holiday. It was an incredible surprise – I kept thinking I was dreaming when I got home last night!

So seriously – blueberry? Chocolate chip? Carrot? Banana? I will have fresh muffins waiting for you tomorrow that I will have baked in my brand new gorgeous oven. Just let me know. We did have a deal.

Over the past 30 years of home ownership, and moving more times than I care to relate, we have had many occasions to employ contractors, maintenance firms and handymen. Level One Maintenance rates in the top 3 (maybe the top 1) in renovation experiences. This was a small kitchen upgrade but included some electrical, gas, carpentry and tiling work, not to mention a tricky cutting of existing granite. Somehow Randy has managed to hire the best employees in the business. Their professionalism, timeliness, attention to detail and follow up ensured a stress free experience. I don’t know how you do it, Randy, but in a business that seems to have more than its fair share of unprofessional and unreliable employees, you have managed to snag the good ones.

We are very lucky that we stumbled upon Level One on the internet when we were looking for a contractor to renovate our small condo in Coal Harbour.

None of our friends or families had any recent home renovations done so we relied on our own search on the web. I was in town in September 2008 for a week, interviewed a couple on the 2nd day in town and decided on Level One.

The owner came to the condo with an assistant for an assessment, listened to what we wanted to have done and offered a few suggestions. I was given a quote within just a couple of days. After agreeing to the contract, the demolition started the following week! Although it was a small one-bedroom condo, we had our kitchen torn out and replaced with new appliances and cabinetry, all the flooring replaced with bamboo flooring, the bedroom closet gutted and rebuilt, half of the bathroom redone. The project was completed in just 2 months.

We are very happy with the process and the quality of the work. We were still living in California at the time of the renovation so all communications were done either by email or over the phone. We received email and photo updates weekly if not more frequently. We were sought approvals for any changes to the plans so we were aware of all changes to the costs all the time. When we walked into our condo a few months later when we moved here, it was exactly how it looked in the picture, even better because we could see it in person.

There was a slight problem with the bathroom sink a month after we moved in in March 2009. It was a new product so it needed some tweaking. The owner came back numerous times to make sure it worked. Not only that we were not charged for the visits, he gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused.

We had other renovation projects in the past and Level One is the most reliable contractor we dealt with so far.
