PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Oceanside Escape welcomes you to a refuge of luxurious relaxation. The amazing ocean view is enhanced by the pumpkin-spice feature wall, which creates visual drama echoes sunset colours often seen outside. Dimmer switches on under cabinet lighting and wall scones add romantic spa-style ambiance. Contemporary, freestanding soaker occupies significantly less space than the previous tub deck. As a result, the entire room feels more open even when two people share.

Careful and Innovative Detailing

Telescoping mirrors (wall-mounted between windows) preserve unobstructed ocean view lines.

In-floor heating and a heated towel rack beside bath create a sense of comfort and coziness. Centrally wall-mounted faucets, handheld shower head, and bathroom controls easily accessed and bathing which create a sleek…yet sophisticated feel.

Special and Unique Design

Shower’s natural pebbled flooring inspired by ocean-side location. Lower of two horizontal accent stripes (recycled, sandblasted glass tiles) bisects convenient shampoo/soap niche.

Standard, off-the-shelf kitchen cabinets (more durable and available in more sizes than bathroom cabinetry) are cost-effective alternative to custom millwork. Minor modifications create angled, floating vanity with dual sinks. Dimmer switches on under-cabinet lighting and wall sconces add romantic, spa-style ambiance.

Functionality and Utility of Floor Plan

New frameless-glass surround/pony-wall combination makes shower-stall feel more spacious and airy even though original footprint unchanged.

Dual-flush toilet repositioned to face view which gives this new constructed pony-wall privacy while still maintaining the open ambiance.
