Construction Manager
About the Role:
If you're passionate about construction and eager to be part of renovation and custom build projects, this could be a great position for you. Level One Construction Ltd, requires a Construction Manager/ Site Manager, to join our team! Reporting to the Operations Manager or the President. The Construction Manager will be responsible for organizing and controlling various project activities. Over seeing the onsite workers and working in the office organizing construction material orders, follow up with suppliers etc. We are a mid sized construction and renovation company, with projects on-going throughout the GVRD. All ethnicities, races and genders welcome.
As a Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the project team regarding working closely with the site manager, estimating projects, Project Managing scheduling, planning ordering, liaison with suppliers and client.
Preparing sub trades and purchase order for issuance.
Preparing and managing the change order process.
Compiling weekly and monthly progress reports for projects in charge.
Maintaining project documentation.
Help preparing documentation.
Interacting with design professionals, consultants, vendors, trades, and clients as required reporting to the Operations Manager and the President.
Supporting various project-related activities, i.e., shipping/receiving/pricing/shopping for project materials.
About You:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Post-secondary education and or Construction management/supervisor experience. Detail oriented and a problem solver.
Experience working in construction and renovations is the biggest asset
Skilled working ability in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience reading and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Competent in written and verbal communication.
Competent in time management and work prioritization.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability with employees and clients.
Willingness to grow.

You’ll be a go-to person on-site — ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to our exacting standards. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their construction career with opportunities to grow into site supervision or project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day site operations and assist with crew coordination
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Ensure high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Lead by example with hands-on work in framing, finishing, demolition, or general carpentry
Monitor and maintain site safety compliance
Assist with deliveries, materials handling, and tool inventory
Communicate clearly with trades, suppliers, and internal team members
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of hands-on construction experience (residential or commercial)
Strong carpentry or general trades background
Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
Ability to take direction and provide leadership on-site

As a Carpenter at Level One, you’ll play a key role in bringing our residential and commercial projects to life. Whether it's framing, forming, finishing, or custom detail work, you’ll be hands-on in building beautiful, lasting spaces that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, formwork, finishing, and cabinetry installs
Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Work closely with Lead Hands and Project Managers to meet timelines and standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Troubleshoot on-site challenges with professionalism and creativity
Use tools and materials efficiently with a focus on precision and quality
Mentor junior crew members as needed
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry
Proficiency with hand and power tools, safety procedures, and building code basics
Reliable, hard-working, and committed to craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
